Today marks six months since I was called to The Gambia for three reasons. One of those reasons put the Gospel in the hands of almost 3000 Gambians last week (while Muslim leaders from 57 nations were gathered here for the OIC).
To be clear, 17 individuals gave a total of $2,207.61 to financially support our OIC campaign. This paid for 3000 books to be printed and distributed. To those who contributed financially and to everyone that coated this endeavor in prayer:
I’m Gr8ful.
While the OIC was in session, we employed two former Muslims to hand out books to the locals. These spiral-bound books were given as gifts from OICgambia.com and were received with little resistance. This simple act brought this helpful resource into almost 3000 homes.
I say “almost 3000” because we held back a few boxes of books that were given to equip five different congregations for their own neighborhood crusades in the future.
What I love about this book is that it simply asks questions and then uses the two texts (the Bible and the Qu’ran) to provide the answers. After reading through the answers to 200 questions, it’s clear that one cannot logically believe in both books as they are literally the antithesis of one another.
Said another way: at the end of the age when it matters most, the Qu’ran says the exact opposite of the Bible.
From the Muslims with whom I’ve worked closely, two general responses emerge after reading through this 120-page pocket-resource:
I need a Bible to further investigate for myself.
I cannot believe anything that contradicts the Qu’ran, even if it means rejecting logic, archaeology and history. Those that go down this track are forced to conclude that the Bible is corrupt (even though the Qu’ran says that the Torah (Tevrat) and Gospel (Injil) are the incorruptible Word of God). Eyes must be closed to the fact that the Torah is the most well-documented writing from the entire ancient world and that archaeologists have discovered entire scrolls (predating Jesus) that verify—undisputedly—that nothing has been changed in the original Hebrew language for millennia. Toss common sense out the window if it contradicts the Qu’ran!
Please join me in prayer that more Muslims would be willing to investigate the first option and begin seeking truth, unrelentingly, wherever that leads them.
To be clear…
…this will not be an instantaneous transformation.
Many muslims are dedicated students and will make a thorough investigation of the topics presented. I absolutely encourage this! What this means is that when they come to the truth of Yeshua, they become some of the most fervent activists and ardent voices for change in their communities.
Speaking of clear…
…allow me to share a vision that I saw just weeks before thousands of Muslims from around the world gathered in The Gambia for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). While I’ve shared this vision with those closest to me, putting these thoughts online in writing feels vulnerable. And yet, I keep seeing the same vision of three clear cards, so I will share.
Back in December when we first began praying (for 40 days) about this event, I shared something with the local TGM church regarding three clouds that I saw in the Spirit. When I prayed into these three clouds, it was clear that they represented three months: a storm—from December to March—taking place in the United States when the world would hear the words “The Storm is Upon US”.
I was expecting a storm in March. This prophetic sign would signal to Western Africa that revival is coming to the entire continent, starting in the West, because THE SON WILL RISE IN THE WEST OVER AFRICA!
None of what I saw happened!
Was I wrong? Perhaps. It would be easier for me to simply delete the original video and forget it ever happened. However, I believe the Lord was speaking. Furthermore, I believe He has given a key to interpret what was originally stated: three clear cards.
On April 8, I saw the vision that I simply cannot shake. What I saw this time looked like three clear playing cards.
On each card, I could see the same timeline, yet events on each timeline were different. When the three cards were stacked together, however, the timelines lined up precisely. When looking at the stack, one could not tell that there were in fact three years merged into one timeline.
Is this an indicator for the timing of Africa’s big shift?
We saw the OIC in 2024. If we see a “STORM” in the US in March of 2025, then keep your eyes on Western Africa in 2026!
In the meantime, thank you to all who have sown seeds in this fertile land. Despite having a population that is currently 95% Muslim, we declare that Gambia is a Christian nation.
God will use the smallest nation in Africa to transform a continent.
While my ambitious mind would have liked to have seen 100K books blanket this nation, God had other plans. I am again reminded of Gideon. I am grateful for the victory that comes from small beginnings and—in that regard—this past weekend was a giant success.
Blessings from The Gambia!
Gambia is a Christian Nation!!!! In Jesus mighty name!
