Many of you are believing the coming administration will solve all your problems. Indeed, great changes are coming, and many of the things we’ve been praying about will take place. As that happens, I tell you we’re in for a bumpy ride and it simply makes sense to be prepared, come what may.
A Word from Turkey
Last year, when visiting the historical site of Myra in modern day Demre, Turkey (the home of the actual Saint Nicholas), I heard the audio guide speaking about the place in the ancient city where they stored grain. My mind immediately went back to an old teaching I shared about storing provision.
When Joseph knew calamity was coming, he stored grain.
If interested in the original word I heard about the importance of Daily Bread, you can watch that here. And if you want more instruction on ways to take action, you can watch this hour-long presentation that I shared at Mission City in San Antonio.
A more actionable task at the moment is to make sure your shelves are stocked. The word I carry is about having a six-month food supply, but if you don’t have anything, start somewhere. Today.
Here are a few resources that other ministries I know of have recommended:
Numanna - high quality organic emergency food storage options
Grid Down Chow Down - grass fed, freeze dried goodness, for all my meat lovers
More that anything, be at peace. Shalom.
I’m Gr8ful.
