A few days ago, while building a school in Turkey for Afghan refugees, I had a dream.
In the dream, my laptop broke. I woke up with the understanding that I needed to change all of my passwords to prevent outside access from a hacker. I’m not certain why this dream meant this, but it was compelling enough for me to take action.
Interestingly, just yesterday, my actual laptop screen went bonkers and started flickering. A simple reset of the operating system fixed the issue, but the unsettling episode caused me to revisit my dream. As such, I am sharing this with you!
You may be aware that cyber threats are on the rise, pre-election. Just last week, a dear friend (and her daughter) had her life turned upside down when hackers managed to get into her bank account through a compromised phone number and email.
So…
To be on the safe side, take some time right now and change passwords on accounts that are important: bank, email, phone, etc. A few minutes now may just save you lots of time and energy in the days, weeks and months ahead. At the very least, changing your passwords is probably overdue and won’t hurt.
More updates coming soon.
I share this dream from an open air cafe, listening to live guitar in the old city of Urfa, the original homeland of Abraham.
